eyeQ is a dynamic computer program that helps students read faster and process information quickly and effectively. Students who successfully complete this program increase their reading speed by an average of 2-10 times. As a result, students enjoy reading more, learn more in less time, and have greater confidence in school. Other reported effects include higher scores on standardized tests, improved concentration and focus, increase in comprehension, as well as expanded athletic and musical ability. |

The Family's Role |
|
Home and daycare are a young child's two most important worlds. Children must bridge these two worlds every day. If home and daycare are connected in positive and respectful ways, children feel secure. However, children suffer when the two worlds are at odds because of apathy, lack of understanding, or an inability to work together. Daycare teachers can build a true partnership when they truly value the family's role in a child's education and recognize how much they can accomplish by working with families. Together we can make a difference in the minds of today's children and tomorrows adults. Below is some ideas that you can do in your own home to make learning a fun and enjoyable experience for both you and your child and remember children learn a lot from parent involvement during play. |
